One of the main foundations of any successful business is having a secure and accurate handle on its finances. At TASC, we also expect our finance department to be an active participant in helping us achieve our goals for growth. For these reasons, I am pleased to announce the promotion of Wendy Velasco to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Since joining TASC in 2019 as the Corporate Controller, Wendy has made considerable contributions to improve the financial processes, transparency, and stability of TCB Enterprise with her dedication to refining workflows and strong data integrity.
In addition, Wendy has been instrumental in executing an economic engine at the service model level as well as transitioning our accounting, reporting, and forecasting process to be nimbler with direct connectivity back to the business drivers.
Wendy started her career in public accounting, spending most of her time at a fortune 10 company. She has extensive experience in financial controls through efficient processes. Wendy’s background also includes controls development, acquisition valuation and integration, and ERP systems implementations.
As an organization that provides financial services solutions to businesses, TASC understands the importance of financial performance and confidence. Wendy understands TASC, our services and our strategic direction and she is well suited to help enable our growth, operational efficiency, and sustainability. We are looking forward to working with Wendy and her team of financial and accounting professionals to build the fiscal health of the business.
As CFO, Wendy will continue building on our strong foundation of controls here at TASC and further strengthen our financial services mindset within TCB. She will continue to lead improvements in operational efficiency to prepare TCB Enterprise for continued growth into the future.
