Last week, TASC hosted our Provider Incentive Program (PIP) Trip and Convention. TASC has been hosting PIP for well over 20 years, long before others followed us by offering conventions and incentive trips. Over the years, our event team has coordinated trips and meetings across the nation and beyond, hosting hundreds of our top producing distributors and their guests. This year was the same; we brought together TASC’s top producing distributors of 2024 to beautiful Naples, Florida. We celebrated their sales achievements, but also joined in several sessions to listen to TASC’s leadership discuss market trends, sales expansion investments, new offerings and features and how distributors can differentiate themselves from their competition and use digital marketing to drive sales opportunities. It was a nice mix of fun and work.
After years of attending PIP, I was most surprised this year by how youthful the distributors are now and how many women are now in our industry. I remember many years when women brokers and accountants were the rarity; that was not the case this year. I marveled at all the attendees and their innovative mindsets, and their commitment to their clients and to growing their business. They are all looking for ways to help their clients control their costs but to also to deliver employee benefits that employers and employees value.
TASC has an asset that no other TPA has, a large independent sales network of thousands of accountants, insurance brokers, and financial planners that represent TASC across the US. I challenge any TPA to match it! Our distribution channel is supported by over 100 TASC employees in our sales team alone. Our founder Don Rashke was a salesperson, our current owner Dan Rashke is a salesperson, and TASC continues to be committed to being a sales organization. We are proud of our roots in sales and we invest millions each year in sales and marketing to drive our growth. PIP is part of that investment.
We have clear objectives for PIP: to drive sales, reward and recognize our top producers and to deepen our relationship with our distributors. As I stood back and observed the group in meetings, at events, at diners, hanging out at the pool and celebrating the top performers of 2024 by dancing the night away… I think we hit our mark and more!
I shared with the group that TASC is in our Growth Era and they are a key part of our success. It will be our distributors and clients that propel TASC into the next 50 years of being in business. I can’t wait to join the group again and celebrate the 2025 sales successes next Spring. If you are not a customer of TASC you are missing an opportunity to be part of the future of employee benefit administration and the chance to work with the industry leader in innovation, technology and breadth of employee benefit services.
