As many of you already know, TASC developed the Universal Benefit Account to be truly universal. It is the benefit administration platform where employers, regardless of size, choose from the incredible list of benefit accounts. And because of its universal nature, if a client has a benefit need that we do not already offer, we can quickly and efficiently build it.
With the Universal Benefit Account, clients can customize their benefits to meet the specific needs of their business and employees. However, with over fifty different benefit accounts already available, we understand that it can be difficult to completely grasp the depth and breadth of TASC’s offerings. This is why TASC created a role that is unlike others in the industry, a Plan Advisor.
Our Plan Advisors provide a consultation-focused service for clients and distributors at no charge. They are not salespeople. They offer a unique consulting and advising service. Plan Advisors collaborate with the client to understand their unique employee benefit needs and make tailored recommendations to ensure they offer a robust benefit package to employees and take full advantage of Universal Benefit Account.
By working in partnership with our Service Model Managers, our Plan Advisors are the foremost TASC experts on benefit accounts configuration, attributes, features, and uses. They know all the benefit accounts and the value they offer employers and employees; whether it is tax savings, compliance requirements, how best to pair benefit accounts together, and/or the latest information on what other employers are doing to attract and retain top talent.
Over the last two years we have had more than 1,100 consultations with clients. I am proud to say that through these consultations, our Plan Advisors have helped over five hundred clients add nearly 650 accounts to their Universal Benefit Account subscription. Some of the most requested accounts include Limited Purpose Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Savings Accounts, Health Reimbursement Arrangements, Dependent Care FSA, and Transit and Parking FSA. We have also helped clients add Tuition Reimbursement Accounts, Student Loan Reimbursement Accounts, Home Office Accounts, Emergency Loan Accounts, Employee Achievement Accounts, and Medical Travel Accounts.
How do Plan Advisors accomplish this? They take the time to really listen and understand the client’s business and employee goals and challenges. Then, and only then, they will help the client understand the accounts available and how they will help them meet their goals. Finally, they will collaborate with the client to create a plan to meet their goals for today and tomorrow.
When we built Universal Benefit Account, we knew that offering all the different benefit accounts in one system with one customer experience, one mobile app and one benefit card was unique. But we also knew that offering such a broad range of benefit accounts could be overwhelming to employers and distributors. I see it when I show employers the full range of benefit accounts we already offer. It can be hard to understand and comprehend which accounts are in their best interest and that suits their needs.
That is why we created the role of Plan Advisor. The reason why our competitors don’t have a Plan Advisor and frankly don’t need them, is because they don’t offer the breath of benefit accounts and configurability options that we do. When combined, Plan Advisor and Universal Benefit Account help clients maximize their benefits. With this combination, nobody in the industry can come close to what TASC offers.
