Madison, WI (July 30, 2018) – As part of the National Philanthropy Day Award program, TASC CEO Dan Rashke was named as the Outstanding Individual Philanthropist by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Greater Madison Chapter. The AFP Greater Madison Chapter is a thriving chapter serving more than 200 members and hundreds more people each year with a passion for philanthropy. Guided by an active board of fundraising professionals and community members, the Madison chapter has more than 30 years of experience offering innovative educational programs that encourage ethical and effective fundraising practices.
Each November, the AFP Greater Madison Chapter gathers at Overture Center for the Arts for National Philanthropy Day, a luncheon and awards celebration honoring community champions for their unique contributions and dedication to nonprofit causes.
The Outstanding Individual Philanthropist is presented to an individual with a proven record of exceptional generosity; who has demonstrated outstanding civic and charitable responsibility; and whose generosity encourages others to take leadership roles in philanthropic activities.
This is the second time Dan and the TASC team has been honored by AFP Greater Madison Chapter, the corporation was named the Outstanding Business or Corporation for 2014.
