TASC will soon be launching industry-exclusive and comprehensive giving solutions that offer employers a platform to build a workplace culture of generosity and to tap into the individual and collective goodwill that comes from giving.
Workplace giving presents benefits for both employers and employees. Offering employees opportunities to make charitable donations at work not only allows them to contribute to causes they are passionate about, it also promotes a sense of fulfillment and community engagement.
Studies show that employees who work for companies that offer generous workplace-giving initiatives are more likely to say that the company’s values align with their own values. Additionally, giving programs are also associated with higher overall job satisfaction.1
With these current trends in mind, we are excited to be able to offer these innovative and carefully considered benefits. TASC has a longstanding commitment to charitable giving within our own company, and TASC leadership is eager to soon be able to present this opportunity to our clients—by offering these new benefits.
TASC GiveBack Benefits include:
Crisis Fund: This fund is supported by employer and/or employee donations. Donated funds are held in an account to be used for an employee who experiences a tragedy or crisis and needs extra financial support. Employees who need this assistance apply for the funds and employers distribute the funds based on pre-established rules.
Scholarship Fund: Employers and/or employees donate money into an account to provide scholarship funds for employees’ children or dependents. The money is held in a tax-advantaged account and distributed to dependents of employees based on established employer criteria.
Charitable Donation Account: Employers and employees are eligible to contribute tax-advantaged money to an account owned by the employee to save towards giving goals. The monies may remain in the account until the employee opts to contribute to a charity of their choice. Contributions made to and disbursements from this account are eligible for a tax deduction.
Giving Savings Account: Similar to the Charitable Donation Account, employers and employees are eligible to contribute money to this employee-owned account designed to save towards giving goals. However, at the time of donation funds are not tax-advantaged, meaning employees can choose to disburse the funds back to themselves instead of donating to charity, should they face an unforeseen need. If the funds are used to donate to a 501(c)(3) charity, they become tax-advantaged.
Give Now Feature: This feature will allow every MyTASC® participant to donate a portion of their MyCash balance to a 501(c)(3) using the web or mobile interface. This feature will be available to all MyTASC® participants with a MyCash balance so you can start giving immediately.
Start building a broader corporate purpose, strengthening employee engagement, and fostering a sense of camaraderie. You have the power to inspire generosity!
