As I have written about before, TASC’s Mission includes the pledge to improve the health, wealth and wellbeing of our customers, employees and the community.
Several years ago, TASC acquired a company called GiveBack, started by Stephen Paletta, that was funded in large part by money from Oprah Winfrey’s Greater Give. Since that acquisition, we have helped hundreds of individuals donate money to a charity of their choice and assisted employers with offering a corporate giving program to their employees.
In 2019, TASC launched Universal Benefit Account on our industry leading MyTASC platform, which today can meet nearly any employer’s need for their employee benefit program. We knew back then that MyTASC and Universal Benefit Account would be the catalyst for TASC to bring philanthropy and giving to even more people. I am proud to say that later this year we will realize our vision.
We will be launching an industry exclusive GiveBack Benefits package, a comprehensive giving package built for employers who would like to support their employees with Crisis assistance during hardship or provide Scholarship opportunities when needed. As part of the package, employers will be able to provide charitable benefits to their employees through a Charitable Donation account that is a donor advised fund or a Giving Savings account so they can set aside money to give when they want, where they want.
Plus, as soon as we release GiveBack Benefits, well over one million people who have a benefit account with TASC will immediately be able use our Give Now feature and easily find a charity they value to which they can donate money.
I hear all the time when I am visiting our distributor partners and existing clients that TASC has the broadest set of offerings in the market; no other TPA can match us. We know that TASC has always led the way with innovation. That is a fact. This set of offerings is different. Philanthropy is part of TASC’s DNA and I am so proud of the TASC team for bringing these new benefits to our customers.
